U9 Tigers Train at St George's Park
Not willing to accept this weekend's unseasonable snowfall, the U9 Tigers made the short trip to the FA National Football Centre in order to get their weekly training in.
Having taken a look around the Elite Player’s Dressing Room – used by England this week prior to their game with San Marino – the U9s, along with a couple of friends from the U10 Tigers, took to the Sir Alf Ramsey pitch, the magnificent 3G indoor pitch which is the same size as Wembley Stadium.
The staff at St. George’s Park were extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to ensure the visit was a memorable one for our young players.
This inspiring venue seemed to have an effect on the boys too, who put on an impressive display in their small sided game to the delight of the NFC coaches and the on looking parents and spectators.
