In the last game of the first batch of fixtures for the season we came up against Belverdere who had also only lost once this season.
Team was GK - Callum, D - Daniel, D - Logan, LM - Jenson, CM - Noah, RM - Henry, S - Callum, Subs were Lucious, Freya, Lewis & CJ.
The players all put what i personally think was the best performance of the season which considering some of the performances we have already seen, is a big note of how well they played.
Every player that started the game made sure that Belvedere did not get into the game with pressing high up the pitch and everybody from Daniel and Logan in defence clearing everything up, Noah, Henry and Jenson working tirelessly in Midfield and Callum working really hard up front. A faultless start from them which was continued throughout both halfs of the game by all the above and Lucious, Freya Lewis and CJ.
Some fantastic goals were scored with Noah adding two absoutley brilliant strikes along with Jenson and Callum again getting on the scoresheet. Others were unluck not to get a goal with Freya nearly getting her first of the season but her effort just went the wrong side of the post. The Belvedere keeper also played very well to stop further goals being scored.
The defence of Daniel and Logan were exceptional at the start and when we changed Henry and Lewis continued to stop any attacks from the Belvedere team.
A great first batch of fixtures come to an end and all the players should be very pleased with there contributions to the team and they are all gelling together well and i look forward to the next fixture release to see if the efforts in this batch has resulted in us going up a division.
Well done again and look forward to next week.
