A great match played in good spirit. Current division leaders Winshill began the game with a good tempo and the Lions starting 7 stuggled to keep up with the pace conceeding 3 early goals , due to a lack of concentration and willingness to attack the ball defensively from set pieces.

Lions started to get into the game ,seeing a bit more possession and finally started to produce some shots on goal after bringing on Callum and Bailey. With a few minutes to H-T Callum hit a long range shot with power into the bottom corner , following a perfect lay off from Bailey. Lions back in the game.

H-T 1-3

Lions again started slowly , poorly conceeding another goal. However, their heads didn't drop and managed to grab another goal due to another tidy finish from Callum. Shortly after the little stiker completed his hat-trick,  cooly coltrolling the ball and and firing past the keeper ,after Kelsie's long long ball over the top. Winshills attacks were limited now, but Dylan made 2 fantastic saves to keep us in the match. With only a few minutes remaining , Lions kept good posession and pressed for an equaliser, after a scramble in the Winshill box the ball was half cleared, only as far as Kieran , who rifled the ball into the roof of the net with virtually the last kick of the match.

F-T 4-4
