Goals by Charlie, Max and an own goal

Man of the match Charlie Starkey

I had a good feeling about the game today, the boys seemed up for it today and organized there own warm up before the game. And as soon as the whistle blew to start the game we got at them, we pinned them in their own half and after 4 minutes we took the lead through Charlie Starkey who slotted into the far corner from a Lewis Millward pass.

From the kick off we got the ball straight back and continued to pressurise the belvedere back line. Shortly after we won a corner which Charlie flicked towards goal only for the belvedere defender to turn into his own net.

The rest of the half was much the same and how we did not end the half 5 or 6 up is a mystery, as a measure of our dominance Brandon left the pitch at Hal time without touching the ball!

At half time we made some changes and continued where we had left off, we absolutes battered them, we didn't allow them any time on the ball and kept the ball off them very well and should of really extended the lead with Aaron, Max, Lewis Charlie and Liam going close.

Eventually the goal came after a bit of a scramble in the box which saw Max hit the post from 5 yards but then smashed the rebound into the roof of the net! Belvederes confidence was now shot and we really should of added to the score line but it just wasn't to be. Matthew and Joseph Hill were snuffing out any threat of an attack as they had done all game.

The final result really flattened Belvedere today although we made a real statement and we should now be feared by opponents instead of us fearing them. You gave everything today and we are so proud to of finally beat them, but not only beat absolutely batter them! Well done again now bring on the next game!!
