AT LAST!!!!! We finally played a game, and you could tell we hadn't played for a while as the boys looked very rusty. There was some encouraging signs though with some good passing from the back up to the front with a lovely ball played through by Joseph Hill which was just too heavy for Aeron Murray to get on the end of. Defensively we had to work hard with our Keeper Brandon Mear keeping us in the game with some great saves showing great bravery along with some strong tackling by Matthew Hawtin and Joseph Hill at the back. The battling went on through out with us going close with a couple of headers created by Lewis Millward and headed by Charlie Starkey and Joseph Rawbon. An effort from Max Reddin went over the bar from a tight angle wasn't until the last minute when we got the winner with a shot from range by Aeron Murray beating the keeper. A pleasing performance and now with the cobwebs blown away and hopefully good weather we can gain some momentum to take to Butlins in May. Well done boys for your hard work earning a well deserved win!
