Tigers maintained their unbeaten League form with a hard fought draw against local rivals Woodville at Spring Cottage .

Tigers took the lead early in the first half when Niall rose magnificently to meet Aarons corner and head into the top corner , 0-1 .

Far from kick starting the Tigers this goal seemed to inspire Woodville who were winning the midfield battle on the whole and putting the defence under pressure . However it was still the Woodville keeper who was he busier with one effort from Connor striking the keeper from point blank range . Woodvilles goals came in quick succesion with somwhat lethargic defending allowing the Woodville scorers time to finish  which they did in cool fashion .

HT 2-1

The lads came out and gave a much better 2nd half display almost totally dominating the game but great respect should go to Woodville whose effort and grit limited the time and space for Newhall to operate in . The equaliser came with 10 minutes to go when a HarryL cross was calmly finished by Aaron 2-2 .

Newhall threw everything in now even going 3 up front to try and grab the winner but simply ran out of time .

FT Woodville 2 Tigers 2

The lads were a little disappointed not to take all 3 points which the 2nd half performance merited but as i said earlier Woodville battled strongly and Tigers need to play for the whole 70 minutes to take the points in future games .
