Newhall Panthers 3          Branston  0

A brilliant  start to our cup competition.

Newhall started the game very strongly, the passing of the ball was fantastic which created several chances before Sam Evans put the ball in the back of the net (15 mins). We continued to pressure Branston resulting in Sam Evans scoring again

(20 mins). We didn`t let up on our attacking play and kept Branston in their own half, this resulted in Brad Steele scoring his first goal  (30 mins).

The second half started off as we had finished the first, dominating the game. Some strong tackling, excellent heading and fantastic passing of the ball by all players resulting in several shots on goal before the final whistle blew.

Overall: an excellent display of football. Well done lads, keep up the good work and lets get to the final !!!
