In comparison to our first two games, the Lions were a bit flat & slow to get started this morning.

We didn t look composed & gave the ball away too easily making Rocester look better than they actually were, giving them a helping hand to create something.  That said it still took them 20 minutes to convert a chance. 0 - 1

That was the spark the lads needed & we started to build some decent attacks, although our final ball let us down at times.
We were soon deservedly level through Albert slotting home, then Callum racing through to fire over the advancing keeper

HT 2 - 1

We kicked on into the second half & raised the bar again, winning the midfield battles & with some neat interplay in all area s of the pitch were looking the superior outfit.

We added to the scoreline with another two from Callum to claim his second hatrick of the season & Ryan adding one after some tireless chasing down.

We conceded another after a real mix up at the back but it didn t matter as we putting them under real pressure & always looked like we could add to the scoreline

FT 5 - 2

Well Done Lads !!  Not a great start but we certainly made up for it

Well done lads, sounds like you had a good game, the U13 Lions seem to wake up in the second half too.
