Played: 5th December 2015

In awful conditions the Lions team played Outwoods and continued in the progress they have made in the past couple of games.

Team was GK - Corey, D - Daniel, D - Sam, LM - Cash, CM - Billy, RM - Will, S - Calum, Subs Kian and Jack

The football which the Lions played in the first 10 minutes of this game against a very blustery wind was a credit to the players and the best i have seen from this set of lads. They should be extremely proud of how each one passed the ball from back to front.

They were rewarded with a goal from Billy after a good run from him and were so unlucky not to score more as there attempts were thwarted by the Outwoods goalkeeper. The performance they put in the first half deserved far more than the one goal they got.

Outwoods got a goal against the run of play and got a second not long before half time with an unstoppable free kick which got the ful force of the wind behind it.

The Lions continued to press in the second half but could not get the next goal which they really deserved but they should be really happy with how they played and if they continue like this we are going to do well.

Cash was rewarded for a great high energy performance this week with the Man of the Match trophy.

Keep it up guys.
