Not the best start to the season but at least we've got the first game out of the way and we can work on things in training that will help us in our future matches. Going into half time 0-1 down and then equalising within seconds of the restart was a good sign but they followed up with a couple of goals (one flagged for offside but the ref over-ruled the linesman to give it) and that seemed to be it.
Our lads looked like they coped well playing on a larger pitch and the signs are there that we can sort things out and be a team that will compete for the title.
An impressive stand out performance came from our old keeper, Mackenzie Morris, who came on in the 2nd half and chased every ball and looks like the position change won't be a problem for him.
Our scorer was Mitchell White and whether it was a cross or a shot, it ended up in the net which is where we need it to be.
We'll work on things at training and go again next Sunday.
'mon the Rams!
