Newhall Took to the road for their final tournament run out before breaking for summer with a great showing at Uttoxeter with Team A getting to the semis and Team B losing out just by the single goal in an action packed final, but they have a few casualties that will need to rest up to get fit for when training resumes in August.

They had their chances but eventually conceded from a free kick that crept through a crowded goalmouth past the unsighted new recruit in goal Byron, who previously was unbeaten throughout the tournament, they just couldn't find the equaliser to take it into extra time so ended up runners up.

A great day all round in glorious conditions in a well represented tournament raising lots of money for the Uttoxeter Round Table, Newhall have grown up quite considerably since last years tournament and it showed against some of the opposition where for once Newhall looked a bigger team all round.

We now look forward to the new season with a renewed excitement  for what lies ahead in the U15's BJFL League 2014/2015.

Thanks to all who have turned out to cheer the lads on through the tournaments this summer, we hope to see you all next season, thanks to our manager and coach  as well for arranging the 3 events.

Have a good break lads and see you for the new training sessions starting in August.

Totally agree with Ron, we look very sharp and strong in possession. I think all 3 tournaments have been successful and enjoyable.
