A match that made me very proud of how this team has been progressing.

All players worked hard together in there defensive jobs which we have been working hard on recently. From the defence to attack the Whittington players were put under pressure and were given very little time on the ball.

Keeper for the first half was Jenson who after being beach by an early goal was on hand to pull off a few very good saves and his presence in goal is hard for an opposition player to score past. Logan went into goal in the second half and again showed just what he can do in goal pulling off a couple of good saves. He was beaten off his line once but soon learned and was quick out to the opposition after this (taking a shot full on the face) which he shrugged off and continued really well.

Out of goal saw some fantastic performances from the players who played in defence during the game. Daniel, Cory nd Harrison all put great tackles in and cleared the danger when needed. Tackle of the day must go to Daniel for a fantastic slide tackle blocking a great run from Whittington.

Further forward and the midfield got up and down the pitch and all put great tackles and surging runs forward and we regularly looked dangerous when going in attack. Harrison, Noah, Tommy, Jenson and Logan all played with confidence on the ball and regularly teamed up with some good passing and moving. We can still improve in this area but we are certainly progressing in the right direction. Congratulations to Tommy for scoring his first hat trick since resigning and was a constant danger. Noah again performed to his high standards and was rewarded with another two goals to his name and was unlucky not to get more. Harrison came close to scoring his first for the team on a couple of occasions but with his confidence improving each week I'm sure this will happen soon.

The lads that played up front should also be proud of there performances as the work rate in tackling the Whittington defence helped the rest of the players. Cory, Callum and Daniel all managed to get some decent efforts on goal. However, the highlight of day must go to Callum who not only scored his first ever goal for us but also got his second as well. His face was a picture and he deserved his two goals as he has worked hard at training recently and it is great to see him enjoying it so much.

Well done everybody and we will look forward to next week.
