We have played 2 matches against Tutbury already, they won the pre-season friendly and we beat them in our first league match against them so this wasn't going to be an easy game. Both teams wanted the win and we're giving every ounce of effort. Going in at half time with the score 2-2, I think we were the better team but a few minutes into the 2nd half we suffered a couple of injuries, Dan Parker turned awkward and sprained his ankle and then Alex Banton went up for a 50-50 header which resulted in a Tutbury player on the floor crying and Alex looking dazed and a huge lump on his forehead. Our only sub was Jack Edwards who had played in goal for the first half so the decision was made that Jack would go back in goal and Mackenzie Morris would put on a spare shirt and play upfront. We had a few good chances to score and we also had a few scarey moments with the ball being cleared by Ollie Morrell in a perfectly timed tackle in our area. The score finished 2-2 and we came away with a point and some injuries that will hopefully be ok for next Sunday.

Goal scorers were Alex Banton and Warren Cassell

Man of the match was put on hold this week as the choice was to be made by Alex's parents but they were taking Alex to hospital to get his lump seen too,

Well done Rams, let's keep this up.

Alex wanted to carry on playing after his "little" knock to the head. Alex would've quite happily played on if we hadn't made him come off and get treatment.
