A great effort girls going 2-0 up against a very good Albion team that we played two weeks ago, losing 4-2. A well taken header from Nataley Eley and a superb lob from Keeley Deery filled the girls with confidence, some lovely football played and a joy to watch! A lucky deflection put Albion back in it just before halt time and they started the second half well and got the equalizer with the eagles defence streched. The winner came after fine play in midfield and a good finish beat Chloe Woodward in the eagles goal. The girls pushed for the draw only to be denied by the crossbar and a fine save. Super effort girls, well done. Roll on Saturday! Martyn Newhall FC Eagles
