The Lions were in generous mood tonight against our fellow Panthers to let this result look like it was a close game

We controlled the game throughout, created a stack of chances & should have been ready to go home at half time
That said at 2 - 0 up with goals from Callum & Luke, we conceded two goals both from corners, the first one being awarded from a shot that went wide & the timing being in the 42nd & 45th minutes, bearing in mind we only play 40 each half

So half time finished at 2 - 2
That made no difference to the team talk as everything else we were doing was spot on

We continued our assault & were soon back in front from Thomas 3 - 2
It was now one way traffic & only the post, the opposing linesman & the ref keeping the scoreline down

It was then on a rare sorte forward we conceded again, the ball falling kindly & going in the far corner 3 - 3

That is the kind of challange we enjoy & we continued playing our football once again camped in the Panthers half.
That pressure told and from a superb flighted corner, Jack smashed home into the roof of the net, a great goal to cap a very much deserved win

FT 4 - 3

A very good effort following on from sunday and even though tiredness showed a bit in the second half, we still had more than enough to control this game

Keep it up Lads !! 4 wins on the trot
