Tigers tally tops twenty as they take another well earned point.

Line up: - Lewis (GK), Josh (RB), Callum (CB), Harry (LB), Tom (Mid), Dom (Mid). Ben (RM), Thomas (LM) Alex (Att). Subs: Louis, Brett, Adam.

Tigers were missing the rock in defence today (Mia) but Callum slotted in well. A slightly different style of play today with two in front of the back three. This worked really well first half as Rollestons attacks were stifled. When they did break through the outstanding Lewis in goal kept them about bay with numerous top class saves to keep the Rolleston score at nil.

Tigers broke well but attacking chances were limited and it needed a moment of magic to break the deadlock. This came in the way of a magnificent drive from outside the box from Ben that thundered in to the top corner. Not evn Petr Cech would have save that! That goal spurred Tigers on and they got a second before half time. A brilliant corner from the energetic Dom found its way to Thomas in the six yard box, he poked it goalwards, but the keeper could only watch as it squirmed over the line.

Half Time Tigers 2 - 0 Rolleston.

Tigers were warned that Rolleston would come out battling second half and they did. It was Rolleston that did the majority of the attacking second half and they got a scrappy goal to give them a lifeline. Tigers back line shuffled again with Callum getting a knock. Dom worked his socks off today and had a good game as did Louis who has really made an impact in the last 3 games.

Tigers makeshift defence couldn't hold out though and they conceded an equaliser. They did continue to battle and were determined not to lose the game. And deservedly they got a well earned draw. Strength of character and team work got them through today and left the Rolleston players, management and gobby parents frustrated. Oh well, we took 4 points off them again this season :-).

Well done Tigers, you battled hard and deserved yout point. That now takes them over the 20 point mark for the season, but have some tough games to finish the season.

Full time - Tigers 2 - Rolleston 2.

MOTM - Leiws Woollett. Quite simply, kept us in the ame with some top class saves.

Blackout winner - Lewis Woollett.
