WINSHILL OUTGUN NEWHALL TO GAIN RELEGATION EDGE

Well Happy New Year to our readers, fans, coaches and players.

It was great to be back until 31 minutes past 10, when Newhall had taken the lead within a minute of the start with a superb strike from Harry well outside the box but after that it ws a bit of a horror show in defence, still I am not going to dwell on it, there were positives with another fantastic performance from Sean to give him a thoroughly deserved man of the match.

Thanks also and a mention to Luke, Liam and Harry for covering in goal throughout the 70 minutes, the other goals coming from Sean, McKlane and Sam in what could have been a better comeback with it being 4-1 at half time but they never learned their lessons in defence of the ball over the top.

I will wiz on to the summary and the coaches summed up the feeling off the field that more effort was applied by the parents in the first 45 than those out on the field, and the second 45 was much better with some movement of the ball to the wings where Newhall play their better stuff to create the chances.

Pretty basic stuff in defence the ball went over the top for 5 of the Winshill goals, the defence needs to get their line right and have the braveness to hold it. Let's hope the players come back to doing what they know they are capable of in their next game.

Next Game  20.01.2013 Barton Rover Vikings U12's Home.

Man of the Match Sean.

UP THE NEWHALL!!
